Penyffordd Post Office Cafe

has been granted planning approval. This now means there will now be a non licensed meeting place for residents that is open all day. Mary and Jim are to be congratulated on this development which has been helped by a Welsh assembly Government grant.

  1. Excellent news, important for the village to have somewhere locals can stop for a coffee and a chat, it can be a simple lifeline for the elderly who might not see many people in a day.

  2. It will also help the PO to remain open as a going concern which is what the WAG grant is all about.

  3. Agree Colin, take away a Post Office and you take the heart out of the village.

  4. Yes, very correct. Penyffordd Community Council should develop a strategy to highlight and encourage residents to use local businesses that give good service.
