Hawarden Airport Operators shoot themselves in the foot

Dave Goodban in The Flintshire Chronicle reports on the turning of Hawarden Airport into a regional setup. Airport bosses say light passenger aircraft will be used. It won't be like Gatwick.

The last line in the article has airport bosses saying Hawarden will provide a fast convenient alternative to Liverpool and Manchester.

This is precisely the fears of those interested in local environment.

  1. Well said Colin. None of the local Cllrs. seem to care about noise or pollution. It's all about getting a feather in your cap for a handful of jobs and there is no guarantee they will go to local people.
