Election Intell

Apparently Colin Bithell's on the door at the polling station already. I've lost our polling cards, you don't need them though. Might be asked for driving license or some other form of proof.

    1. Yes Colin is keen.
      He has to be.
With 10 votes covering all three county councillor nominations
in 2008 for two seats there is no room for complacency.

  3. not just on the door when I went to vote he was in the room with the returning officer sitting on a table It was like casting your vote in a third world country. With the candidate making sure you vote for the right person. I thought it was quite intimidating

    1. I've just asked my wife who says he was sitting in the room next to the polling officials. Just like you say.

    1. Thanks Colin.
He did not do himself any favours. When I saw that I was disgusted at how arrogant he was and went and voted for someone else!

  6. Candidates and election agents have the right
to enter and to remain in a polling station but
they must not disrupt voting or attempt to
    canvass voters.

I've never seen a candidate inside the polling room. Apart from doing their own vote.
