Clerk Nigel and Emails further

Nigel is Council Clerk and Financial Officer to the following councils.

Penyffordd
Leeswood
Flint Town Council

None of the above have proper email addresses. - Funny that !
By proper I mean not a form on a website.

I can look or search for emails I have sent over 4 years ago to Cllrs David Williams, Cindy Hinds, Linda Vidamour, Carl Sargeant AM, Mark Tami MP, First Minister Carwyn Jones AM.
If Carwyn isn't too big to have an email and reply why should Nigel not have one !


Perhaps Penyffordd Community Council will  decide to enter the 21 st century with regards communications with their residents.

After all Nigel they're free and you do have Internet and must be able to operate a computer
because of the account side.

Perhaps time for councils to become a little less accommodating to you?

    Nigel the scribe is certainly a busy man. Serving the Councils is all well and good, but serve them equally and do them all justice. Colin does have a point.

    At the end of the day it's Tom Jones' fault. He doesn't want the council to give that sort of access. It's to easy for the serfs.
    You have to ask why councillors will not press for an email address for the community council. It's all part of the sickness.

      Mr Nigel Jones is a very effective Clerk, you seem obssessed with the internet.
      Mr Nigel Jones is employed by 3 Councils and does his work to their entire satisfaction, that is all that matters, therefore it does not matter to anyone else, he is the servant of the Councils.
      His address is well publicised, and he can be contacted by telephone or by post.

      I am over 70 years old and have never witnessed an election quite like this in Penyffordd.
      Do you know what you have done so far as a Candidate?
      You have insulted two very highly respected Councillors, one who is making a splendid recovery following major surgery and who has recently lost his dear wife, and the other is cllr Tom Joned who has served, and is contiueing to serve Penyffordd Community very well, and you expect people to vote for you.
      You have insulted and offended all Churchgoing Residents of all denominations.
      You have dragged your wife into the public eye and caused people to delve further into her background.
      You have insulted Members of the Community Ccouncil by your subtle observations and attempts to belittle their achievments.
      You have offended the older generation, those with parents, and grandparents.
      You have insulted and offended all those people from Penyffordd who have to travel to work via Chester Road by classing them all as "Speedsters"
      You have brought our village into disrepute.
      You wish council money to be awarded to the wine circle instead of other worthy young peoples activities i.e. The Scouts, Brownies, Guides, Cubs, Beavers and the Youth Club not to mention the sporting organisations.
      When people put Penyffordd into "Google" it is your "Blog " which comes up what does that do for the image of Penyffordd.
      How does all this affect the sale of property in the Penyffordd area.
      Prhaps you should learn to live and let live!
      Now after all this you expect decent Residents to vote for you! "You are a Stupid Boy"

    Question is, should Mr Nigel Jones be employed by 3 Councils? That is a bit of a monoploy isn't it? Would it not be fair to give someone else a chance? Is there nobody else qualified enough who might fit the criteria. Surely, Nigel Jones cannot possibly be the only man in Flintshire well qualified enough to be a Clerk.

    I think you are a spineless little man who obviously has nothing better to do with your time. Nigel is my father and it hurts me to see the way that you talk about him. He is a very caring man and whatever work he does, he is always 100% dedicated to the task at hand.

    Are you jealous of my father?

    Because your life certainly seems to be revolved around his!

    How would you like it if I started a blog dedicated to you and Lisa?

      14 people were present.

      One hopes Tom will not try to stop Chester Rd traffic calming which will be good for Chester Rd environment, schoool children on a major route to school and OAP's going to the Post Office.

      That the council should tell Nigel that they have decided to join the 21st century and that Nigel should have an email address so that residents can email Nigel from the comfort of their own homes. (they won't of course, too much face lost)

      Instead of the current arrangements which are:-
      Nigel's address and telephone are difficult to find.
      He is a busy person. You ring up and are asked to phone back.
      You can ring up Nigel he might be in the bath, having his tea, walking the dog, around at Larry's, at Flint or Leeswood

      Emails are so efficient, he can answer them when he has time and will not be disturbed much in his personal life.

      I'm quite to prepared to discuss this issue with County officials.

      The bar is set high for communication with the council. In my opinion this is done on purpose.

      I feel your comment is set as a trap. It's quite a simple matter really. Over 70% of Penyffordd have email facilities.
      There needs to be an end to Penyffordd Community Council "Spanish practices".
