Batten down the hatches

I bought a 12 foot polytunnel off Ebay and half put it up yesterday, not good timing. I have perhaps an hour or two to bury the base with soil before the weather turns.
Otherwise it will end up on the Institute field.

Today:

Areas of heavy rain will move east ( to Wales) this morning, accompanied by severe south or southwest gales. Gusts of 60 to 70 mph, perhaps reaching 80 mph or more over high ground and exposed coasts. Becoming dry this afternoon, wind easing. Maximum temperature 12 °C

Postscript: looks like South Coast will bear the brunt
